"Mystic Bliss"
These soothing scents of mint, eucalyptus, and sage are inspired by St. Teresa of Avila, a mystic and a Doctor of the Church. She is the patron saint of headache sufferers and those who have suffered the loss of a parent. Her feast day is October 15.
Behind the Inspiration
Teresa of Avila experienced great physical suffering throughout her life, including being so ill when she was young that when she came out of a days-long coma, a grave had already been dug for her. She credits her recovery from the coma to the intercession of St. Joseph, for whom she later named her first convent.
The aroma from these scents is commonly used to soothe and treat migraines and other head ailments. Their clean, heavenly fragrances also call to mind Teresa's profound mystical life.
St. Teresa of Avila, pray for us.
