Just over 2,000 years ago in a little town called Bethlehem, a miraculous event took place. Since that time, the same Olive Trees have been growing, nourishing locals, providing shade and bearing witness to some of the most important moments in Christian history.
The same trees that were alive 2,000 years ago are alive today and kept healthy by caretakers who go through a routine pruning process. Local artisans have turned the wood from this process into one of the most important symbols in Christianity, the Cross.
The cross measures 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. It comes attached to a key ring.
